Since so many here want so much to forgive Mel Gibson for his anti-semetic tirade and beligerent behavior towards law enforcement I was trying to come up with the best punishment. I think I got it. Besides the obligatory fine, I think the Judge should sentence him to 500 hours community service at the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust. What do you all think his sentence should be?
My dear, that wouldn't be a punishment...that would be the best thing he could ever do in his life....:)
They should make him watch Schindlers List, the complete unedited 5 hour version 100 times.

Good point. I'm curious as to what precipitated the outburst. I mean, he's stopped by a cop, he's asked to get out of the car, and he just starts blurting out "F**KING JEWS..." I wasn't aware that the LAPD was primarily made up of Jews. In fact, I've never known a Jewish cop! He wasn't that drunk, .12 or whatever isn't over the top drunk. It's weird. I can't wait to hear how he explains it! It's gonna be kinda fun!
