When dealing with the nutjob conspiracy theorist / pacifist crowd I inform them that I don't respect them enough to acknowledge their ravings. Then I ignore them and watch them get angry because I ignore them.

"this invisible government war party goes back perhaps to the 1846 Mexican war..."

Are they still using the secret handshake?

The conspiracy nuts referred to in the article are the closest thing we have in the Western World to Muslims. Muslims in great numbers around the world believe in all sorts of incredible plots and secret machinations designed to subvert their success. So it is not surprising that we have a few. The inclination to string various events into a conspiracy must be an element of human nature. So the real difference between the Muslim world and the West (mainly America but in relative terms Europe too) in some sense is the kook density of the population.

published by Progressive Pres.

Is it a secret code that Press has only 1 s? I see it as a mistake, but, these conspiracy theorists could write a book about it.

When are we going to get pictures of the Mother Ship? Don't you know that it is aliens from another star that want to take the entire Middle East because of something very valuable hidden in some ancient tomb. They are fighting the United States using their proxies in the Middle East. [Sarcasm button off] Heh heh!

Yep, none of the thousands of workers in the WTC noticed the demolition teams drilling, setting charges and wiring them up. No one in Manhattan spotted the huge hologram projectors that made it look like aircraft crashed into the buildings. No planes really were hijacked; they and their occupants were spirited away to the government mother ship...

The Bavarian Illuminati will be pleased that Tarpley has only figured out the plot back to 1846. Nothing about the Templars. Or the Holy Grail. Or King Solomon's Temple.

**9/11 was a coup d'etat by a financier elite to force George W. Bush into a "war of civilizations.**

Let's break this down:

Bin Ladin, apparently at Atef's urging, finally decided to give KSM the green light for the 9/11 operation sometime in late 1998 or early 1999.

KSM then accepted Bin Ladin's standing invitation to move to Kandahar and work directly with al Qaeda.

... At this point, late 1998 to early 1999, planning for the 9/11 operation began in earnest.

Source: U.S. State Dept.

Since the plans for the 9/11 terrorist strikes were made in late 1998/early 1999, how could this have been a "coup d'etat" to force Bush into a "war of civilizations"?

Who, in late 1998/early 1999, would have guessed Bush would be President in 2001? The idea of Bush becoming the next POTUS didn't enter into my mind until Nov. 1999 (when he was reelected governor of Texas).
