due to their proven connection to uncontrollable climate changes, such as tsunamisTsunamis are caused by undersea earthquakes. What does that have to do with heating oil?

"Tsunamis are caused by undersea earthquakes. What does that have to do with heating oil?" About as much as heating oil use has to do with fall foliage.

You are obviously unable to make simple connections. Oil is pumped out of the ground, which which obviously reduces pressure in the subterranean strata, which obviously causes shifting of earth along fault lines, which obviously causes earthquakes, which should they happen under water, obviously causes tsunamis, which obviously causes destruction, disaster, disease, and several other serious detrimental effects on the ecology, such as rising gas prices, McDonald's, the IRS, and hangnails.
