But then one also has to ask - why didn't UCI follow their own rules, and give Landis the 5 days to request the additional test? The fact that all of France goes on holiday this Friday is significant, and would result in this dangling in the breeze for several weeks, but does that trump allowing Landis due process? There's probably compelling reasons to wait until the 5 days to request - lining up your own experts, as you or Vision mentioned, is one of them.
