the UCI moved on Monday to hasten up the process - by asking the laboratory Châtenay-Malabry to go ahead and test the "B" sample as Landis has failed to ask them himself

Guys, while I will continue to support Landis until the truth is out, I'm beginning to have my doubts cause this isn't adding up.

What was all the mystery surrounding his "disappearance" when the story first broke? A question that ultra lame interviewer Larry King did not ask. Why was he not on the phone with Fox News/CNN that afternoon? I kind of see a pattern of calculation on Landis's part.

In the Larry King interview Landis mentioned that he had to request the second test and had five days to do so. He said something like "right now I'm deciding how to handle all this.". I thought, 'what is there to think about?' Also, Landis looked really nervous in that interview. Much more tense than his doctor, and at one point he wiped sweat off his forehead. Does this mean anything? I don't know, but I believe I now see a pattern emerging.

Another question, why is Landis not on the offensive if he rocked stage 17 all by himself? If he is innocent, he has the world's worst PR. I remember Armstrong was out clearing his good name constantly.

I have to agree that his PR has stunk from the get go. But there is the possibility that he's just not as worldly as Lance Armstrong. By all accounts, he didn't have the retinue of advisors and handlers that Lance did.If you're unsophisticated & you don't have those people around, what do you do? I guess you kind of flail around for a while in disbelief. I don't know that I would characterise him as nervous so much as overwhelmed. But I'm not deluding myself here. He could very well have made the biggest, dumbest mistake of his life.If he did do it, I just want the people who nail him for it to do it in a way where we can all trust the validity of the outcome.
