Upon further reflection:You are right. Maybe I shouldn't be condemning the lab if it is some jerk at L'Equipe making all of this up & their lab "source" is non-existent.That's a distinct possibility.But this lab's reputation is pretty shaky, as the UCI report on the Lance/EPO leak investigation indicated it refused to elaborate on it's protocols, etc. There's enough doubt about a non-scientific agenda there that renders their credibility at least a little suspect.But if Floyd has his reps there to confirm the validity of the "B" testing, I do think he's sunk. (I'm assuming the sample sealing process is good enough that tampering could be exposed.)

I realized I hadn't posted the (relative)confirmation I had found about the L'Equipe story in their Fri edition. It's here
at procycling.com. Sorry, meant to put this up earlier.This piece have dueling experts about the IRMS (Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry) test that the lab in question uses to detect synthetic testosterone. Seems there's debate about
that too. Sigh.
