Remember STAND, this will be your last best chance yet to shame me into oblivion, and a sure fire zot from the powers that be if you truly can prove I am a fraud.

However......

This is me at my desk as an Aircraft Maintenance Controller for HML/A-367 in Okinawa in 1985.

The piece of green paper I am writing on is a VIDS/MAF form, a five part/page document used at that time to track all work performed on Marine Corps Aircraft.

Each page had a different function, one page was used to track parts ordered, One page went into the aircraft gripe book until the problem was repaired at which time it was replaced by the copy that The aircraft maintenance Controller (yours truly) used to track the work and the parts replaced to repair the aircraft, one copy was used by the shop performing the repairs to track the work being done the parts being order and the repair itself, and one copy went to maintenance admin to log the repairs in the computerized records of all repairs, labor and parts for each aircraft.

Each page was a different color as well, the top page was green this page went to the shop doing the repairs along with the back white page which would later go to Maintenance admin to be logged in when the gripe was repaired, The bright yellow page went to Maintenance control along with the pink page which was inserted into the gripe book to ashow that a repair had not yet been completed the pale yellow page went to Aviation supply when parts was ordered.

In the back round above my head is the VIDS/MAF display board I used to track all work being performed on all aircraft assigned to HML/A-367.

Directly in front of me is an embarkation box with the aircraft gripe books detailing what was wrong with each aircraft and what repairs had been made to each aircraft between the last ten flights.It was in these gripe book that I signed the authorization sheet certifying that an aircraft had been inspected prior to flight, preflighted by a crew chief or a plane captain, and fueled and configured for it's mission on the flight schedule.

Once again STAND you have made the mistake of believing that you know me by what I haven't said about myself. The last time you did so you assumed that I had never been to New Orleans and had never worked at The Confederate Museum and knew nothing about it, then I proved that you didn't even know that the largest free standing monument to General Lee was right outside the very front door of the museum and you didn't even know it was there.

But all around good natured sport and nice guy that I am, I'd like give you the chance to redeem yourself one last time, I'll post a picture of me in a confederate uniform if you do, with one slight caveat, you'll have to wait until I recieve the pic from my father.

Then we can compare which of us wore a confederate uniform first. anyone care to bet which one of us that will be?
