Why is this news? What kind of rape scene? I remember seeing A Time to Kill and there was a rape scene in there, well snapshots of what is supposed to be a rape. Is this full on rape? Also, someone tell me how you tastefully portray a rape scene!!!

Supposedly it's a full blown rape scene to make it look like you are actually standing there watching it happen. At least that was what Beck was saying this morning and he hasn't seen the movie, yet. The rape scene that Monica Bellucci did in that French movie Irréversible did not feel anywhere near being tasteful, comfortable or anything else. I could of done without seeing that.

When I was a little girl I saw Ingmar Bergman's movie THE VIRGIN SPRING. It had a very graphic rape scene. There was no nudity, but it was graphic. I think it may have been the first of it's kind. I was so disturbed by it because I was so young...Today, 40 years later, I still think about it.
