The IRS refused to investigate Jesse Jackson, I believe.

No one had more red flags the Rhymer - but, they looked the other way.

Makes one pause and wonder, is this America?

Everyone except for total idiots understands that if the race had been reversed in this case - the FEDS would've shut Nifong down long ago, and he'd probably be the one out on bail.

It is my understanding that the order not to investigate Jesse Jackson came from a higher source outside of IRS or its director even though Bill O'Reilly and others asked for one. In the Durham case, there is a possibility the IRS will get involved if a fuss is raised.
