Give us the Cliffnotes version, please.
The basic story is that a good, honorable Marine is selected by the (Clinton) White House to head a U.N.-directed assassination squad. He's skeptical of the legality of it at first, but eventually accepts the assignment in order to get the opportunity for revenge against his brother's killer. The (Clinton) White House conspires with an ex-KGB general who works for the U.N. to blow the mission in order to keep their black-market arms trade going.
As North's first try at a novel, it does have some rough edges. But, I think it was really good in spite of that.
