War on terrorism's most idiotic phrase to date: "Proportionate response to terrorism."
How do Kofi and the friends of terror manage to say it with a straight face?
It follows the same logic as being a little bit pregnant.
Proportionate response = "They pull a knife, you pull a gun" </ Chicago Rules of Engagement>
I have no problem with the concept of "proportionate response".
I do, however, have a problem with the suggestion that Israel has exceeded theirs.
Absurd, that is all I can say!
Yes, and the most cogent question put forth this week,....."When has a 'cease fire' ever resulted in cessation of hostilities?"...John Bolton.
Excuse me,...."When has a 'cease-fire' signed by terrorists ever resulted in cessation of hostilities?"...John Bolton.
Yes, you are indeed correct. The phrase should now be taken, embraced, and used by the enemies of terror. Thanks.
More liberal crap - plain and simple. The hand-wringing, milquetoast cowards of the left and their pandering to, and appeasement of, terrorists is sickening.
That's such an innocuous phrase. It won't happen but if Muslim hijackers were to ram a plane into the U.N. building in NYC, I wonder what the surviving U.N. personal's idea of a proportionate response to that would be? '
What's a "Proportionate Response" to Asymmetrical Warfare?
Definition of Cease Fire: Time period used by hostile forces to regroup and rearm in preparation for continued fighting.
Kofi Annan is the esteemed leader of the efficient, wise and benevolent international community, in a parallel, I must repeat, parallel universe.
