So he left a private law firm to step down to the lowly DA's office? What's up wit' dat?

I don't know what his prosecutorial duties are in the office; what I found interesting (among other things) is that he graduated from Hillside High School in 96, the same year as Crystal. They may have no idea the other is alive, but there seems to be quite a few coincidences connected with this case.
