I agree. The addresses don't matter a hoot. It'll be easy for Nifong to get the addresses of the returning players. As the graduated players, what's to tell that Duke will even have that information? At best Duke can pass on the last known address.

Nope! Nifong wanted the info from the key cards and his fishing expedition got quashed.

And the addresses are also made moot by the oft-mentioned point that the laxers are all represented by counsel who are supposed to be the DA's point of contact with the laxers. Of course after the dorm raid in Edens quad, we all know that Nifong doesn't respect that particular provision.

And if the graduates don't come back to NC, Nodong can subpoena them until the cows come home. If they don't show, he can pound sand. He would have to go through a whole lot of hoops to force them to come back to testify. The most he would probably do is release the non-appearance to the media as a "Why are they hiding? What are they hiding?" type of story. Then they can all call the media and answer their question: "It's a BS case and we're not coming back unless forced by the jurisdictions we live in."
