For those of you who were concerned about the welfare of our legless friend with an unusual appetite for electric blankets, here's an update, with pictures. Remember: Snakes eat vermin; Clintons and DemonRats are vermin.

Karl Beznoska brings an uncomfortably bulging Houdini to the St. Francis Pet Clinic on Monday.

Veterinarian Karsten Fostvedt looks at X-rays Tuesday of Houdini, a Burmese python that swallowed an entire electric blanket. The X-rays also show the blanket’s electric coils inside the 12-foot-long snake as well as the control box.
