Under the law, they have what is called "failed nation status".

A failed nation does not have to be accored recognition in the courts.

HOWEVER, if the issue is that of ancestry and discrimination based on ancestry they can have a case if they can show some form of discrimination along the lines of those who were discriminated based on skin color. These days that is a VERY low standard.

Thank you for clearing that up. Yep, it sounds like a very low standard. And I don't know why more "regular" people don't take advantage of it.

I guess, it's probably because everyday working people, mostly Republicans have too much pride.

It's a Democrat thing.
