Oh? Who rules the country? The GOP. Where is the GOP's base? The South. What got the GOP realignment going, and made the party dominant? The Southern Strategy. Where have the last 3 of 5 Presidents come from? The South.
The North won the Civil War. And then the South swallowed them whole.
As for NASCAR's stupidity, they're going to find out what happens when they offend the great majority of their fans.

NASCAR is the NEW "dixie chicks" (has anybody, who is a TRUE southerner, gone to see them lately???? their last tours dates in the southland were "LOSERS", as the "chicks" ARE!).
NASCAR's "sniveling cowards" will LEARN it's NOT smart to offend their base of customers for the sake of political correctness.
