I don't believe you and the other open border crowd have thought it through.
Note I have never said hispanic. (what is hispanic? Puerto Rican? Mexican? Spanish? Venezuelan? La Raza rascist thugs? All of the above?)
It is cultural differences. The illegals I saw marching in L.A. were carrying Mexican and marxist flags.
If you want to destroy this country as a free country, continue to have an open border.
Maybe we can start bringing in all the refugees from Africa and a few billion Chinese who want to flee their communist paradise.
And finally do you advocate giving every illegal the full rights of U.S. citizens?
We have a totally dysfunctional immigration policy. We don't admit the number of people we need to keep our economy healthy. As long as we don't do that, we're going to have illegal activity.
I agree that the problems at the Southern border are mostly because of illegal Hispanics. But National policy should not be set because of the problems in just a few states.
We need a National policy. And a fence isn't it.

Enforcement of the law and a fence with enough border patrol agents is it. What is your solution? I have given several.
We need to admit people LEGALLY that have skills we need and who wish to become citizens or stay for a set amount of time. If they wish to stay past their visa expiration, apply for citizenship or an extension, but do it LEGALLY.
Frankly, I don't understand the longer term members who seem to think that giving amnesty to the illegals will solve this problem in any way, shape or form and do anything except unleash a worse flood of criminals on this country.
There really aren't many who come across the border on foot. A fence wouldn't stop much of the illegals. The fence is a knee-jerk reaction without much sense behind it.
We do need some guest workers - both skilled and unskilled. The employers really want them.
There is no current way for employers to get the number of workers they need legally.
I think there is a big difference between immigrants whose only crime is to be here illegally and ones who are thugs, murderers, or drug traffickers.
We do need to be able to sort them out, and we do need to be honest about which ones we need.
