HAH!!! Beauty!
Well I finally get to sit down to the computer! I got stuck in a traffic jam on 1604 yesterday after work-there was a 3 vehicle wreck strung right across both lanes of traffic, plus an ambulance and two police cars-and got home late, and was rushing around cooking dinner. Today, I went to my customer's house and finished the little bit of work I had left there so I could get paid and not have to put up with the traffic nightmare on 1604 again on Monday to get there and back.
The local paper reported that two sheriff's deputies had been summarily fired. The report said that a deputy had arrived at his home after his shift to find his wife, who is also a deputy "hostessing an entertainment of sorts" with a single male deputy, and another deputy and his wife. It went on to say very that the deputy had found his wife and the single man "in a compromising position", and made a video of what was going on. The other couple was not mentioned as being in the cast of the video. Afterward, an "altercation" broke out between the husband and his wife's paramour, resulting in the paramour attacking the husband and chasing him into the woods on their property, where the husband apparently used his cell phone to call the sheriff's dispatcher for assistance. After deputies on duty answered the call, the husband went to his parents' home in SA, stating he was afraid to stay in his home because of fear of retaliation from his wife's lover, and he indicated that he would pursue charges of assault and a civil suit, as well as letting the county use his video as justification for the firing of his wife and her boyfriend. The wife and her lover were both fired the next day-and they are both saying they will sue the county for wrongfully firing them. Isn't that just f'ing beautiful? And this took place right here in the community I live in.
My neighbor who is a SAPD officer told me he heard that the wife and her lover were caught en flagrante delecto on the deck by her husband, with the other couple watching the action. It appears to me that these young people (they are all in their 20's) were into the wife swapping that seems to be rather commonplace in commuter communities out here, and that wife got herself shagged by a single guy, which I understand is nearly always against the "rules" of that game, so the husband went into a rage. I wonder about the video, though-did he sneak up and make it covertly, or was it just part of the fun and games until someone got pissed? I don't know how the county will justify firing the female deputy, since she was at her home and not on duty, but since the guy who was boffing her attacked her husband, he is probably toast. What disgusts me is that these are the people you call to report public lewdness at parties in your neighborhood (like next door to me)-and look what they're doing in their spare time-what confidence that inspires in the sheriff's department (not!). What is WRONG with people like that? They must have been brought up with no morals whatsoever.
This kind of thing goes on everywhere, but in cities people are a bit more discreet because the neighbors are just a few feet away-but they move to a remote area, and seem to loose all their inhibitions-also, everyone knows what everyone else if doing in a small community-men gossip just as much as women.
