Today looks to b a fairly boring recuperation day. Phonak is riding well so far protecting Landis. The Peleton doesn't look to be very giving today though, they are not putting up with any breaks at all -- or maybe it is just that nobody has the legs to run away today. LOL.

Word is that salvodelli was Injured AFTER yesterday's stage, and that lead to his abandoning today. Anyone know the nature of his injury?

Anyway, being Bastille day, I would expect that the Peleton will allow a French rider lower in the GC to break off late and take the stage.

Well looks like this break is being allowed. Good to see Popovych in it. Best placed in the break at 9:00 back. Wish it were Big George tho'...
