I'm not going to flame you. I've seen Shep do some news, and there are times when he does it to my liking. Not to say I can't detect a bit of bias in his questions or delivery...but at least it is straight forward.

When he's covering big news like today's news, he needs to keep the hypberbole and panic in check.

I agree that his evening show can be enjoyable; "Around the world in 80 seconds" or whatever, and it can be a good way for people coming home later in the evening to catch up on the latest.

His talent is not in delivering big breaking international geopolitical news. When the job calls for him to do it, therefore, he needs to be a minimalist. Because his rambling does not do any good.

Oh well,so be it!At least I can get fair warning when BS is BS!I can only imagine how your blood pressure must spike being an ex Texas redhead!!Kidding of course!

I thought Shep was pretty representative of Ole' Miss Alumni. I see a lot of Ole Miss Alumni around these parts, I tell them they'd sell their heritage for a black athlete. I don't have a dog in the MSU/Ole Miss fight, I went to Tennessee.

OK my bad.....I didn't take in consideration what you were referring....

..Of course..Shep is grandstanding.

I just realized who he reminds me of...

..whatshisname, the talking head of the Mary Tyler Moore Show....you know, the vain, primping guy with the sleek hair and chiseled features...(of course he was older than Shep)

Fairness time: I just turned the news on...Shep seems to be a bit more calm today....granted, I've just had him on for ten minutes or so, but he's not sounding like a shrieking banshee today.

Much more enjoyable to hear.

Shep might as well throw up the white flag. What a wus. Stay home Shep and stop apologizing for Israel.

The Fox Folks are driving me crazy. Too much from them on their personal military strategy instead of reporting on the war. "Well of course, world pressure will force Israel to stop this murder of women and children" "There must be a cease fire now"... Barf

Where's the outrage at Hezbollah for hiding crap in apartments and mosques? Women and children get killed, then everyone turns to Israel. Why not turn to the f'in Muslims!

Shep is a pantywaist
