Well, it's a lovely, cool, and mostly sunny morning. Less that 24 hours till I'm sitting on the luxury bus, speeding towards the airport.

I want to say what a great pleasure it's been being a member of the Lair. Bentfeather, learning to dabble in poetry here was not only great fun, but it was a great opportunity to find a new form of expression. The last few months I've spent living here in The Dump were getting easier to cope with every day, but still were reliably unreliable.

Writing poems helped channel a lot of frustration and I really appreciate your The Dragonflies' Lair threads! (and links). Thanks!

Here in Taiwan it's not so easy to have a phone line, you have to have a two year contract, and ending it is a big annoying deal, so I should probably do that today since the bus leaves at 9:00am tomorrow (yeah!)

So I'll make this my final post for a while (or nearly my final post!) As usual, when I move, I'm always surprised by the number of little nick knacks you have to look over and at least decide if you still want them or not! So I have enough annoying little bits to pack/clean to keep busy for the rest of the day (not much time for Freeping!)

So, good luck to everyone, I'm sure everything will be smooth sailing. I am looking forward to having some setup where I can Freep and share pictures, but it will take a couple months for me to evaluate the best ways to do all that.

Since I'm leaving Taiwan a bit earlier than I planned, that means I won't be coming back to Taiwan again for nearly 9 months! (yeah! yeah!), I'll be in Thailand mostly that whole time.

So if I don't blow back into The Lair for the first two months or so of that time, you can be sure that I will be back for most of the remaining 7! 9 months! Longer than I planned, but just the tax refund offset almost my entire budget for the trip (because it's damn cheap to live there, I mean real, real cheap), so I can say that's better than a kick in the head with iron boots!

Well, I best run now, at any moment I'll unplug my DSL connection and give it back to the telephone company. Best of luck to everyone in the Lair and we will cross paths again in the not too distant future!
