Wow, this typhoon was so lame I apparently already missed it! Looks like it already passed through in the south, and is now on its way to China. There's just lots of rain now in its wake:

TAIPEI, Taiwan(AP) - Typhoon Kaemi lashed Taiwan with heavy rains and strong winds Tuesday, disrupting traffic and causing power outages before churning across the Taiwan Strait toward storm-battered China. ADVERTISEMENT Kaemi was about 40 miles west of Taiwan and had weakened slightly with 78-mph winds as it moved toward southern China, the Central Weather Bureau said. China ordered emergency preparations ahead of the typhoon, while hard-hit parts of the nation's south were still cleaning up from an earlier typhoon that killed more than 600 people. The storm made landfall in southeastern Taiwan and roared toward the Taiwan Strait before dawn Tuesday through the southwestern county of Chiayi, the Weather Bureau said.
