I missed you, Lady 'feather, (I know its sappy),
for your sparkle was gone from the place,
and we wondered if you were happy,
somewhere with a smile on your face.
Unsure if you were aware of the reputation
of that place you'd gone is known by
why some think its the very Devil's exaltation
where naughty folks, their needs free to fly.
But now your home and we breathe a sigh,
and relax a bit from unspoken doubts,
sad to hear you lost this time, so again to try,
and one day to win, and a trophy to flout!
