in Mockingbird, there was no dna, no cell phones, no "rape exam" to detemine injuries.....the prosecutor strictly went on the word of the woman....

Nifog OTOH has dna results, cell phone records, and a rape exam that doesn't have any solid conclusions........

yet, he still proceeded with this mockery....

so I beleive that the prosecutor in "mockingbird" is less racist, less evil than NIfog...Nifog who has all the data showing the AV has no case ........

I think this case was only revealed what's been inside him for years. It's what Woody Vann meant when he told Greta, "You don't want to get on his bad side."

I'd like to believe he'll implode from stress, guilt, anger, etc., but I just see a ruthless, narcissistic personality too self-absorbed to understand why "I believe her story" is not ample reason to put hundreds of people through hell despite no evidence of a crime.

As someone pointed out long ago, the "Courthouse Crowd" will now start exhibiting a "siege mentality" where they will all band together to get a conviction and prove that Nifong's handling of the case is just fine.
