"UFC has since found its legs and it's making money"
That won't continue unless they find a way to make the PPV's as exciting as Ultimate Fight Night.

UFC has certainly been "Cleaned up", I remember the old days, miss them, a bit, but its good to see it somewhat legitimized. I DO think that the rules changes have benefited the upright fighters and strikers though.

Tip of the iceberg. I've been watching this stuff since day one and it's fun to see the rest of the world is finally catching on. It's also quite educational and I've added much to my own personal arsenal by just watching.
Does the UFC allow pressure points?

I'm a long time boxing fan, but I really do think the UFC has a winner, especially if they keep the Spike TV and IF they continue to have fights on there and not just the reality show fights... at least 1 fight a year on free TV(well basic cable/dish). Pay-per-view is what killed boxing and I hope Dana remembers this because it will kill his sport also if he cant get the word out..

I've enjoyed the fighting alot, but miss the original system, before rounds and whatnot. UFC3 and UFC5 still surpass most of the fights we see now.
On the otherhand, reminds me of the decline of the Roman Empire, and the increase of bloodsport to please the agitated masses suffering from horrible urban inflation rates..
Sound fimiliar?

Ratner recalled watching CNN in the 1990's while Ken Shamrock, one of the UFC's biggest stars, debated the organization's biggest detractor, Sen. John McCain of Arizona.Shamrock debating McCain?! That's too funny. I wonder if Shamrock demanded respect from McCain, or if he had to take it from him!
