That's why I'll have a flying pig moment if Titus actually does anything Monday. If he has an ounce of decency left in him--and that's all it would take--an OUNCE--he'd end this thing right now.
And it will never get moved out of Durham because no Durham judge will agree to that.
It seems all the Durham/NC judges are cut from the same cloth.
(I will eat my words, but only when I see some proof otherwise.)
And there must be some connection between Bayly in DC and Durham. Otherwise I can see no reason for the absurd trial and (probably pre-determined) conviction there.
My opinion of the judiciary sinks further every day.
I agree. I do, however, recognize that this case is making national headlines everyday and the defense attorneys are wise for keeping it front and center. There's only so much injustice a court can render before the national exposure reveals the injustice. I'm not sure any judge is willing to lose all credibility in the eyes of the entire country, whether elected or appointed.
