Detroit winning it all would be good for the game. A turnaround like that would be awesome to behold. Regardless of what the second half holds, Leyland has unquestionably earned himself MOY.
Well, He sure has done a good job. I mean outside of Kenny Rogers, I really can't think of any other additions, they have the same team from last year. It was just three years ago that they set the record with 119 losses. I think this season will erase some bad memories for a lot of guys on that team.
We still have half a season to go. I mean remember the Nats last year. They were on fire in the first half and fell apart in the second. I will qualify that by saying that the Nats set a record for 1 run wins in the first half of a season, and the Tigers have been winning quite convincingly. In addition the Tigers rotation is better than the Nats had last year. I still think Ozzie has a good change at MOY if he takes his boys to the WS again this year.
