I'm sorry for your heartbreak. She should not be able to take your daughter out of state. It's sometimes hard to find a competent attorney but there's lots of information on the internet to help you with this. My son fought for custody of his 2 daughters, acting as his own attorney (he is not a lawyer) and was given custody by two different female judges in two states because his previous spouse had taken them out of state. Maybe custody is not what you want but you do want generous-equal visitation. Dads are very important to daughters and daughters love their dads. Trust yourself to know the right thing to do and when.
