My husband raises rodeo bulls and just suffered this kind of a loss. While everyone here was cheering the success of the horses treatment I was, and still am, expecting the worst. Our bull Copperhead Driller, spent 2-3 months in a cast at the vets, before dying of infection, in spite of everything possible being done for him. And yes, I expect the owners of the horse can pay the vet bill out of their insurance money.

Sorry for your loss, if it meant anything to you, sourpuss.
I'm guarded about the chances of this too, but I appreciate the task for being more than a mere trifle that costs nothing, emotionally or financially. It's costing a lot, and I hope it plays out in a good way.
You have a nice day Ditter. Please! :~)

Rodeo bulls are rock stars, too. Each with its own individual name and personality, for sure. I'm sorry for your loss - bet you have some great photos, though it's no consolation.
