Does that prove Corsi's fantasy about the Amero is more likely? Because Bush never mentioned it, Bush must be pushing it? Was that in the WSJ too?

What good is an 'economic union' without economic continuity? It seems reasonable to expect any such initiative would include a common currency, or at least common valuation.

Maybe not to you, but it would to most, I suspect.

A common currency is a bad idea. And unnecessary. So is equalizing tax rates.

I don't think anyone is serious about pushing a common currency. I'd be surprised if the Euro lasts another 10 years. Italy might drop out of the Euro. If they do, it could start a trend. Germany hates the Euro.
