nah, since I was a small guy (comparatively) wrestling heavyweight, he decided to shoot on me, but he screwed it up (being 6'6" will do that too ya) and he caught me about chest level.

Didn't even knock me down but I didn't try to kick my left leg out like this Italian soccer actor/player did....

OK. You bring up something interesting. You are (in your words) "a small guy". Therefore, your center of gravity is going to be lower that the 6'6" guy (What weight class was this BTW? Dude musta been a bean pole).

Zidane appears to be a few inches shorter than the Italian. That coupled with the unexpectedness of the action (as opposed to squaring off for wrestling) could have made the difference.
