Landis only American left standing after shocking stage (ITT Stage 7)

RENNES, France -- On a day when pundits predicted an all-American sweep of Saturday's time trial stage at the Tour de France, an aging, cold warrior upset the favorites to win and slip on the race leader's yellow jersey.

Only Floyd Landis could stand tall against surprise victor Serhiy Honchar, a Ukrainian on the T-Mobile team who relegated favored Dave Zabriskie to 13th and former Lance Armstrong helper George Hincapie to 24th.

Thanks for the ping and on board for today's race.

I don't think Serhiy "relegated" those two to their positions of 13th and 24th.

He rode a darn good time trial while they seem to have been off their game somewhat.

Everybody got what they earned. Serhiy did look real happy up there.
