Well, half of my family was already Christian, the other half freaked out. I was the last one they expected... lol
That crowd I hung with are now either dead or on a permanent mental vacation, a far as I know. Perhaps some came to Christ, I hope so. I've lost touch with them all. And I never rejected them, that's the weird thing. They just couldn't handle the invasion of reality I guess.
Now, I actually employ two of my very first 'new' friends, and their wives, in my business. One of them is also the worship leader at church. Little did we know what God had in store for all of us- we were just barely adults back then.
I hope God's love in you, has brought more family members in since your salvation. He's faithful, and you have His promises over your family!
I understand. Many of the people I hung out with are "guests of the state". I imagine about as many are probably dead as well. Haven't seen any of them in ages. I cut ties with them long before I got saved, but I believe the Lord had a plan. Could have just as easily been me. Salvation is available for all. Even for the last person you would think possible. The person the Lord used to lead me to Him is the last one on the planet I thought would come to Christ. As a matter of fact when I heard he had gotten saved, I said "Yeah right. Me too." The Lord sure turned that one around.
Sounds like things are really going well for you & family & friends. God bless.
