What's funny about all the POTC references is that people make it out to be some sort of Earth shattering event/conspiracy that a major studio didn't want to back it. Studios turn down hundreds of movies ever year. A film with that subject matter would not sound like a big moneymaker to the MBAs that run the Big Studios these days.

Still going to see it.Still think it will be a fun movie. I need a break. I am tired of Bush bashing and bush hating, I just need a fun movie to recharge the batteries so I can fight again. Since there is no other good movie coming out of Hollyweird this year this is the movie I shall take an afternoon off to see. Reminder Jerry Bruckheimer, Rigley Scott and Mel Gibson are three of the most conservative producers in Hollyweird. Lighten up ,enjoy the movie! Get out a little!Try the popcorn!
