I can't believe it. Texas finds someone else other than its own taxpayers to build and operate a road (for 50 years), and folks complain that it's not their money being used.

Wrong. I don't want American's land taken for foreign interests. I realize that in your world sovereignty is a quaint notion but in the minds of most Americans it still means something.
