Zidane shows Portugal how to score!
By the way -- credit to you for showing up here after England's loss. You talked a lot of trash, but came out here anyway.
Now our man Michael from Duesseldorf -- he needs to show up. (Actually I was having dinner this exact time last week in Duesseldorf -- nice place).
Actually -- Zidane shows England how to score!
I'd have to say that Zizou has passed up Muhammed Ali as the most famous Muslim athlete in the world.
Crowd still booing C. Ronaldo every time he touches the ball. Well deserved I might add.
Zidane is having another great game for France. Whenever he gets the ball he looks dangerous.
I am booing him from my armchair!
Send him to Jueventus. :)
Yeah, were sorely lacking someone with his composure at the penalty spot (except Owen Hargreaves - must be the German influence). England best stick to the Italian method - go hell for leather to avoid the penalties.
Anyway, go on France. I'm tired of Portugal.
To be more precise, Champs-Elysées.
I'd be happy if they at least had the letters right...accents are too much to expect, I daresay.
He ought to be booed whenever he's on the pitch, or even when he's on the bench, or even in the parking lot after the match.
The funny thing is that England and Portugal have been allies since the 14th Century. Not any more!
Go France!!
Interesting to see how Portugal reacts.
They have not trailed in the World Cup up to this point.
Cristiano Ronaldo = Greg Louganis of soccer ;-)
France's Claude Makelele, right, knocks Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo off the ball during the soccer World Cup semifinal match between Portugal and France in the World Cup stadium in Munich, Germany
You tried that in 1998 and the ref disallowed Sol's goal.
Pity about Sol -- he used to play for the good guys until he sold out to the Wankers from South London!
France's Eric Abidal, top, beats Portugal's Luis Figo to a head high ball during the soccer World Cup semifinal match between Portugal and France in the World Cup stadium in Munich, Germany, Wednesday, July 5, 2006.
