We're seeing some fine diving today.
Sorry about the triple post there.
Italy's first-half momentum seems to have gone.
Totti needs to come off for Pierro.
No pace and no slow accurate balls either.
They need to change something. They don't want extra-time and penalties vs the Deutsch.
Italy offside again.
No question. But this match is showing thirty more tortuous minutes.
Toni out. He seemed to mentally take himself out. Totti must be next.
They will not let him play another 30 plus like this.
Longer this goes on, expect it to get nasty.
Terrible call on another great play by Cannavaro.
Didn't amount to anything.
Come and sit here with me Ballack.
He's a shadow of his former self. Hope it continues. Give him a drink.
Jens Lehman.
The new Harald Schumacher.
A fine save and mugging both. He read that play well.
But the defense is relying on him to cover too many breaks to the goal.
Extra-time?
Most defintely. Gilardino or bust.
30 minutes more.
Who's your money on?
The pressure is on Italy.
Germany don't lose penalty shootouts.
German fans sure don't sound very happy
The surplus is 320 with a hundred on Italy. Win 50 if penalties.
Absolutely. They've been second best all game.
I've seen them win from this position before though.
Gilardino... on the POST!
