definitely, sue them. at a minimum, it will force them to contact their homeowners insurance agent. even if they don't settle, or you don't prevail in court, many insurance companies will drop policy holders who own vicious dogs.

re: it will force them to contact their homeowners insurance agent.--good point. They'll go down on permanent record as a dangerous nuisance, even if you can't get satisfaction otherwise.
