Lies, simply lies! We´ve plenty of beer, there´s no shortage, although the Brits wished they were in at least one competition better than us. :-)
If the Brits really did drink all that beer, my hat's off to them. But I suspect the Germans were drinking more than their normal share, and the Brits only put them over the top.
