Just got home.

WOW!!! What a game!!

Pure class today from France. They were better then Brazil everywhere on the pitch. Zidane was magnificent.

The back 4 of Sagnol, Thuram, Gallas, and Abidal were magical. Nothing was going to break that line today, and especially with two destroyers like Vieira and Makalele in front of them, it's no wonder Brazil had so few scoring chances.

Ribery and Malouda worked hard on the wings, and Ribery looks to be the future of French soccer. The guy has more heart in his little frame then the entire Brazilian team put together did.

Ronaldinho was invisible today.

I agree.

Never said they weren't.

Thanks for all the pictures.

I watched the game and thought it was one of the best matches I have seen at this WC. Both teams played well and it could easily have gone the other way. It was a very entertaining and exciting match to watch. I did not think France had it in them to play like this. I believe Zidane was the difference in this one. I am glad AFN started showing the matches here.

Couldn't agree with you more. The French defense was pure quality. Ribery brought some nice speed and strength to the attack.

Zidane played with the intelligence that makes France a different team. Without him they struggle.

Brazil is going to be sad. And all the bandwagon fans will have to find another team.
