And the sad fact is -- Rooney is not a true striker.

Why Sven brought Walcott is beyond me. It's clear he won't play unless Rooney and Crouch both get hurt. He would have been better off with Teddy Sheringham for all Walcott will play.

Defoe should have made the team and Lennon should be playing.

The players currently on the pitch are obviously talented footballers but they are by design or circumstance keeping a clean sheet and that's it.

The Prem is all about width these days - where's England's width? Lennon is a must and not just for 10 minutes.
