At first I thought this was gonna be a Sante Fe, but this guy was actually from a "good" part of New Mexico.
Hondo is on the way to Ruidoso from Roswell. Along with Lincoln (of Billy the Kid fame), Capitan, and the Mescalerro Indian country, this is truely a beautiful little spot of the world. I shot my first Mule deer atop Arabella Pass justa few miles down the road from this guy.
