The key thing is that the local UMC pastor was interviewed, and made declarations about the anti-war stance of the official, 8 million U.S. member UMC. If this fella represents his conference and the wider body of general UMC Methodism, then the larger church should be held accountable for any illegal activity of the local congregation.

But speaking of Lt. Watada, the following is from Code Pink's latest emailer:
