The problem with SPP is that parts of it are completely within the constitutional powers of the Executive Branch. The problem lies with those parts which may eventually not be. That's within the SCOTUS purview. There's a fuzzy line between International Trade and International Politics. Our Leaders are making that line a whole lot fuzzier than it ought to be. Now that we know, that's our fault.
The government is allowed to have working groups, for sure. But, it would be nice, not to mention mandatory, for those 'groups' to report out on exactly what they are doing, and more important, what is their vision of the future.
For example, I notice that the President has not said word 1 about this. And neither has your congressman. When were they planning on telling us? The day before the referendum? Or was there going to be a referendum?
The stuff we are finding out by researching the links provided by Freepers is reason for real concern. But panic plays into the wrong hands.
