This photo provided by Ten Speed Press shows the cover of 'The Twinkies Cookbook: An Inventive and Unexpected Recipe Collection.' The book is a 75th anniversary event for Twinkies. Among other joys it guides sophisticated cooks to Twinkie Sushi, and comfort-food devotees to Pumpkin Twinkie Bread Pudding. (AP Photo/Ten Speed Press)

The new "Twinkies Cookbook" has recipes for everything from a Twinkie Burrito to Twinkie Lasagna.

Unless they just mean things that *appear* like burritos or lasagna...that's just wrong. Very, very wrong. Sick and wrong.

Three million years from now sojourners from the planet Nuknuk are going to be at an archaeological dig somewhere on this Earth and they're going to find a little object still wrapped in its plastic wrapper, of a color not found in nature and made of substances that will convince them that it is an artifact of a high civilization. They will not be able to read the letters "Sell by Apr 1963" but they will worship it anyway.

Twinkie Burritos? Twinkie Lasagna?

Heard they had a recipe for "Twinkie™-misu" (tiramisu).

Hey, I'd try it.
