Then catnip is a good choice. It's not picky in the least.
We're listening to Hoagy Carmichael and other classics today.
I've got Star Trek TOS marathon going here....
....might switch to Dr. Who in a little bit.
704 is a more patriotic snaig :~D
Well, I had two of 'em ending within minutes of each other...lost the first one, won the second. Got Joshuas Spelling 2 TE for half the price of new, including shipping.
I have found, with persistence, I can pretty much do that on ebay. It may take forever and many many attempts, but eventually, I win at my "Half price minus shipping" max bid.
In this case, my max bid was $5.03 and I got it for $2.80. The shipping is outrageous, but still less than half price of new, so I went for it. $7.00 for shipping. Weighted scales, imo.
SirKit has won many bids for $.99, knowing that the shipping will be $10 or $20! He figures he's getting the product dirt cheap, even with the exorbitant shipping. I guess that's how some folks are making any money at all on their stuff.
Heh. I should have gone for 703, too!
I've never seen a B2 in real life, but people who have seen one flying says it seems to have an other-worldly quality to it.
That's what I figure too.
As the summer draws to a close and I am going to really need curriculum purchased, I go ahead and just buy it new at Mardels. I figure I'll be able to sell it for half price and still only end up paying half price for it!
Sure you do, just crush up some eggshells and sprinkle them around the tomatoes. It really works :-)LSA
I wonder if a crushed up Tums would do?
It's based just down the road from us; we've seen it a number of times. Probably mentioned it before, but bears repeating today. Working along Highway 13, we heard 'something', turned and saw it above the tree line. We watched it fly directly overhead, and it wasn't all that high either. Simply breathtaking; it doesn't look like anything else.
Really have no idea on that. Can't say as I've ever heard of that use of tums before.
But I'll have to dig them out of the compost thingy first!
It was one of them UFO's!
Heh...I've given up trying to put eggshells on the compost heap. Cisco *loves* them...so they never stay.
I've got one of those compost bins with the covers. But sometimes I don't wait for the eggshells to decompose completely. So I end up with eggshell fragments in muh top dressing. I guess I should grind them up, huh?
LIFT OFF - God bless them and watch over them till their safe return.
breathe...breathe...breathe...
Comcast just installed a new modem. We're back online. Don't have the wireless router hooked up, but I think the card is fried anyway. So there's that.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes.
I'll catch up more tonight.
Yes, prayers for the astronauts.
Time for a new energy source for space travel, though ;-)
