Well...isn't that cute.
So who are we supposed to be rooting for in this scenario?
Thronson was the name we saw at the diner that one day, I think - when we were questioning which county we were in. ;-)
Well, it's been a Monday already. I managed to spill coffee over the only outfit I had that was a) clean and b) ironed and had to start from scratch. I was only ten minutes late, which I guess isn't as bad as it could have been, but I've had no coffee and there were problems already when I got here.
Then I managed to delete one of the messages on the help line without listening to it. *sigh* I hope that doesn't come back to bite me.
Heh heh!! Well, for people plagued with these worms, which do a monumental amount of damage to tomato plants, the wasp eggs are a welcome sight!
My jedis love these worms. They're hugh. They're, uh...durable, if you know what I mean. Joshua can play with them for days. That "horn" on it's backside is soft.
They are a major pest. We don't see too many, but the g'nads apparently do.
Heh! See 4284.
Depends on if the call on the help line was from the boss :~)
So - I don't think it's a bad thing, necessarily, to vote for Kimball, I don't see signs that he'd like to make CWPs harder to get in the county, and that's about the most partisan power the sherrif's office holds. He appears to have the support of his dept... Thronson's been a cop, I guess currently in Lacey, but he's relative outsider.
I bet that DID feel good! Glad y'all took the chance, and went!
The horn is on its backside?
Doesn't have much of a head, does it? I was picturing that being the head side of the critter...
Like I said, it's definitely no beauty. Ugh.
Does seem like a bit of a dilemma, doesn't it? I guess if the wasps only bother the worm, or if I had a crop that the horn worm was threatening, I'd root for the wasps.
Well, if the horn worms damage tomato plants, I say, "GO WASPS"!!
Interesting... yeah, It sounds like Kimball would have it in the bag if he gets Edwards' endorsement. Edwards is an institution in Thurston County.
He likes Edwards... he helps out with the Edwards benefit ride every year, but I remember him badmouthing Edwards quite a bit because he thought Edwards was too obsessed with Gideon Israel and Rainbow Valley. He thought rushing in and busting up Rainbow Valley every week/month/year was a waste of time.
I looked up, just now, to see what might be going on with him now, and all I could find was an old story in CannabisNews :~) cannabisnews.com: Marijuana Advocate Gideon Israel To Go Free!
Yes, indeed! The wasps are beneficial insects. The THW is a pest.
I think you can actually purchase those wasps for your organic garden...I know there are some kinds you can.
It's a tomato hornworm being attacked by parasitic wasp...pupae...thingies.
Yeah, but then to the wasps come out and bother humans?
Hah...some do, yes. But these are itty bitty. They only wanna bother the worms.
You know how I was telling you about how our worship service has changed since we got John Travolta for a music minister? People are waving their arms in the air, dancing around and the music motononous and loud? Well, I figured out after visiting this church last night who my church is trying to imitate! LOL! It was like mine, except like on speed!
There were thousands of people there! It was very loud. I didn't mind it, though...I had an idea it would be like that. But now I see the direction my church is wanting to take. A woman put her hand on me and prayed at one point (I musta looked like I needed it! Heh!) I didn't know what to do, so I just stood there grinning and blinking stupidly. When she got finished, I said "You know, in my church we just shake hands!" and we both laughed. It really wasn't a bad experience.
Anyway, Hagee was good...talking about Israel and such.
cringe
great day!!! so glad you went... nothin' better than a day at a spring-fed river...
snaig...
