NASCAR beats them all. And the championship is on the line every week with the points leader changing. Scoocr, football, NBA would drool to get 100,000 rabid fans in every sunday.

It's not the number of rabid fans sitting inside a stadium that brings in the Big Bucks.

It's the number of coach potatoes sitting in their living room wearing their "official" jerseys and hats watching the event and the Bud Lite commercials on TV.

Just for comparison's sake (I'm not trying to make some smart point here), total revenue for the English Premier League 05/06 season was $2.44 billion. That's in a country with a sixth of the population of the US, so there is money in soccer.
