True, and that (along with the possibility of getting an anonymous arse-kicking) helped instill a certain quality of mutual respect, which is oft missing today.

And, BTW, I'm not saying I disagree with Mr. Militzer's assessment nor that I think he should be caned for it. The courts readily protect such "speech" as long as it's not applied to THEM - for that duplicity, they justly deserve every word of it.
