Just checked the link; I must admit the charmingly titled "Cup My Balls" was a completely new one to me.
I usually avoid World Cup records like the plague though I have to say the English are not the worst offenders. The Scots World Cup songs were always worse (and usually featured Rod Syewart). That was in the quaint old days when they actually used to qualify.
My favourite one this year was Geoff Hurst (hero of '66) and others redoing the theme from the old BBC WW2 comedy "Dad's Army". It wasn't very good, but it irritated my more politically correct friends a treat.
